    Important amendments to the German Act against Restraints of Competition. 19/05/; Articles; Germany recently adopted the 9 th Amendment to the Act against Restraints of Competition (the “Amendment”). The Amendment implements the EU damages directive, and brings about a number of additional, important changes to German competition law.   On 31 March , the German Bundesrat (German Federal Council) approved the long-awaited ninth amendment to the Act against Restraints of Competition. The amendment was already passed by the German Bundestag on March 9, , and will enter into force on the day after it has been published in the German Federal Law Gazette.
